Hylton Performing Arts Center - George Mason University - Manassas, Virginia


George Mason University is partnering with Prince William County to build a performing arts center of national significance. Construction completion is scheduled for early 2010.

Facilities include:
  • A 1300-seat horseshoe opera house with a full proscenium stage and complete stage equipment.
  • A 200-seat Rehearsal Performance Space with full catwalks, control room, and backstage support facilities. The Rehearsal Performance Space is equipped and planned for acting and directing classes, professional drama productions, dance class, dance recital, orchestra rehearsal, and music recital.
  • Art Gallery.
  • Dressing rooms.
  • Wardrobe room.
  • Scene shop.
  • Costume shop.
